A semi-permanent technique in which pigment is implanted into the skin in fine, natural, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of micro-needles with results lasting up to 1 1/2 years.

A semi-permanent technique in which pigment is implanted into the skin with a semi-permanent makeup machine and fine needles, to give a natural blended look of powder in the brows, with results between 1-3 years.

Will it look natural?

Alyssa prides herself on ensuring your semi-permanent makeup heals and appears natural to your overall aesthetic, with or without the use of makeup!

Does it hurt?

To ensure minimal to no pain, you will receive a topical numbing cream throughout your service. Client comfort is always our priority!

How long does it take?

Appointment times vary, however expect your appointment to take anywhere between 2-3 hours. Alyssa will take her time during each step of the service including the consultation, brow mapping, color theory, and technique to ensure you are fully informed and have approved each step during the processes.

How many sessions will I need?

Every technique includes a first and second session. The second session will be done 6-8 weeks after you first session and is a requirement to ensure optimal healed results. During your second session, Alyssa will evaluate your healed results and retouch over the previous work. Second session appointments are typically done in 1-2 hours depending on the skin type and technique.

How long does it last?

Typically semi-permanent techniques can last between 1-3 years depending on your skin type. During your consultation, Alyssa will discuss your options based on your skin type and brow goals. Most semi-permanent techniques are touched up annually or around 18 months.

HOW TO PREPARE

Prior to booking your semi-permanent makeup appointment, check that the following contraindications do not apply to you to ensure you are able to receive semi-permanent makeup. Contraindications include: Pregnant/Breastfeeding, currently using Blood Thinners or Accutaine, Diabetic (consult with doctor), Autoimmune Diseases (consult with doctor), Epilepsy, Keloid Skin, Open Wounds in Brow Area, and/or Undergoing Cancer Treatments. If you have any other medical conditions/concerns consult with your doctor prior to booking.
If you are unsure of the technique best for your brow goals, book a free consultation with Alyssa. If you decide to choose and book your desired semi-permanent makeup service, Alyssa will perform a through consultation with you before proceeding to do the service the day of your appointment.
Prior to appointment avoid the following: 24-48 hours before appointment do not consume ibuprofen, caffeine, or alcohol, this will ensure minimal to no bleeding during the service. One week prior avoid taking vitamin e, flax seed oil, and fish oils for optimal color results.
When booking, keep in mind your second session must be done 6-8 weeks after your initial service. Your second session will be booked immediately after your initial service.
